Small squeeking and chirping sounds from up ahead alert you to a new creature. You hurry on... from the sounds, whatever it is will probably be quite cute. You can't really picture anything except something cute making those little sounds... You reach the creatures and find that they are, indeed, very cute.

They stop chirping and squeeking and making their little sounds for a moment, and stare at you. It's almost a bit disconcerting; they have rather large eyes, and they're motionless for the few moments that they study you. But then, seconds later, they break out into their little noises once again, but this time about ten times louder. Apparently, they're happy to see you. You get closer, and lean down, petting the little beings. They seem to like that, and they seem rather put out when you, after around ten minutes of giving them your attention, you rise and once again resume your walking.
