As you continue cheerily down the path, a bit of movement to your left catches you eye. You look over, to see a lovely creature lounging on a large rock alongside the path.

She's a Jeweled Wolf, but you can barely even make out the jewel on her forehead, for her eyes glow with an unnatural, bright white light. It hurts to look at, and yet, you can't seem to look away, either... You'd probably be standing there forever, but a sound in the forest beyond catches the Jeweled Wolf's attention, and she takes her gaze off of you to look. Free of the drawing power of her stare, you hurry on down the path.
