The moonlight on the path illuminates small pebbles, with shine like drops of silver as you pass. Occasionally, wide-petaled flowers shiny silver and red as well, adorning the trees upon which their vines cling to. It's a beautiful, yet haunting sort of nighttime world, and seems to induce you into a state of mind that feels almost as if you're asleep. It's peaceful, but slightly unsettling, and you wonder to yourself when morning will come. "The sun shall rise soon, wanderer," says a voice, and you look towards where it came from, to the right of you. There, in a small clearing that wasn't originally very noticable from the path, stands a leagus mare, accompanied by another, smaller creature. Hesitantly, you walk towards the two of them.

The leagus regards you silently as you approach, and her companion, and cat-like whorling, stares from where it lays upon a large stone. "Morning comes" the leagus speaks, "and with it, come those who walk in the light. You, it would seem, walk in both." You aren't really sure what to say, and she seems to sense this. "I am Lasair. The whorling is Mairsil. And you, wanderer?" You give her your name, and she looks back to the path. "Travel on. I suggest that you make no stops." A slight smile plays upon her face. "If you can reach the falls by sunrise, you will be glad for it." You thank her, head back to the path, and move on.
