As you hurry on, you swear that you occasionally glimpse something in the trees to the left of you. Whatever it is, it's tiny; all you really see is a tiny sparkle here and there. It seems to be keeping up with you, and is obviously flying; the creature is about even with your head. You reach a clearing of sorts, and the path cuts through the center of it. As you break free of the trees, you stop, and the small spark of color seems to stop in midair as well, and comes to hover directly in front of your face. It is indeed very tiny, but as you peer at it, you see that it's a little winged unicorn of about three or so inches in height.

You hold out your hand, and the small equine comes to rest on it. You admire his wings, which remind you of darkened leaves, and his bright hooves and horn shimmer in the moonlight. After a few more moments, though, the small wings once again start fluttering, and he flits off. You resume your fast-paced walk as well, hoping to reach the falls that the leagus mare had mentioned.
