As a bit more light begins to creep into the air, you speed up your pace, hoping to beat the sunrise to the falls. You luck out, and as you round a bend, the trees suddenly open up, and you stop short. Directly in front of you, a good twenty feet or so away, is a cliff, lined with large boulders that would prevent you from falling. To the left, a steep wall of rock rises unexpectedly, ending quite a distance above you. The mist from the water coursing over it dusts your face, and you slowly walk forward towards the rocks at the edge. You carefully peer over the edge of the rock, just as the sun starts to rise over the top of the waterfall. As the light spreads downwards, you see that the fall ends around fourty or so yards below you, and you think you can make out movement near the edge of the pond that ripples at the base of the falls. The light soon hits the pool below, and the creature is fully illuminated... sunlight reflects off of the shining mane and tail of a beautiful leagus mare, who dances in the shallows of the water below.

Her dance catches the rays of lights and tosses them off of her, and the rocks lining the pool below sparkle. You breathe deeply, inhaling the fresh air of the morning and watching as the mare fluidly moves in the water. You are indeed thankful to have caught the sunrise at the falls, and it is with a sigh of resignition that you turn back to the path.
